About the author

Donna Hauth, teacher and mother of five, grew up on a dairy farm next to her grandparents’ farm, which she and her siblings operate today.

She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls and later became a third-generation teacher.

She became a widow at the age of forty-four and several years later remarried. When she isn’t writing, she enjoys traveling, dancing, gardening and playing with her grandson Matthew. Donna and her husband, Dave, reside in New Richmond, Wisconsin.
